Our Lady of Walsingham

Those of my readers interested in Western Rite Orthodoxy or Anglo-Catholicism may be interested to know that today marks the 75th anniversary of the translation of the image of Our Lady of Walsingham to the Holy House in the Shrine in Norfolk, UK.

There has always been an Orthodox presence and interest in the Holy Shrine, and the little Orthodox chapel tucked upstairs is one of my favourite places to attend the Divine Liturgy and receive the Holy Mysteries.......
