My much-loved stepfather continues to recover well from his open-heart surgery. He had a checkup at the hospital last week, and they are truly delighted with his progress, which is good news.
He is looking much better than he has looked for several years, and he is getting back both his appetite and his cheeky sense of humour, which are good signs :-)
