I would end up in the south-eastern corner of the Indian Ocean. Not too exciting. Although, when I told my dh, he said that he has always wanted to go to that exact spot. Obviously he was being sarcastic :)
This made me realise just how big the Indian Ocean is. I traced around the entire lower 48 states and never left the Indian Ocean on the other side. The only parts of the US that correspond with any land whatsoever are the very northern tip of Alaska which corresponds with the Antarctic coast and Hawaii, which is opposite northern Botswana.

So much for digging a tunnel to China!
how cool!!
but yeah, only the Indian Ocean as well. If taken from my hometown in Russia, then I'm in the south of the Pacific ocean.
I appear to pop out several hundred kms off the NW African coast in the middle of the Atlantic. I shall bring my snorkel. :)
I would end up in the Southern Indian Ocean north of Anartica.
