A Closer Look

This is a closer view of the leaning tower of Caerphilly Castle.
The moat system is huge and well-populated with wildfowl ( and fishermen, on the day we visited !).

I think Caerphilly was my first castle. I first visited it in 1980 on my first trip to the UK. When I was back in 1990 travelling with my best friend, we took pictures of ourselves holding up the leaning tower to keep it from falling. I've been at least a couple of times since. It is the castle to visit in South Wales.
