I'm so sorry, Elizabeth. Anniversaries such as this are really the worst times. We think we're handling things reasonably well, or we know that we're not, then all of the memories come back to us at anniversaries, of things that we used to do with the person, a sense of painful loss at what could have been, and anger for some us that they were taken. I don't know what to say or to offer other than to say that I do understand and shall pray.
I'm so sorry, Elizabeth. I've heard people say that after a loved one's death, you can only go to a new normal. I hope your new normal gives you peace today. May your brother's memory be eternal.
