Although photography is allowed throughout the rest of the museum, no cameras were allowed inside the Terracotta Army exhibition area, which was kept in twilight to preeserve the artifacts. So the giant poster outside was the best I could do :-)

How was it? I was in London in November 07 and foolishly thought I could just turn up...booked out.
Oh well. The British Museum is a wondrous thing anyway.

It is just the special exhibits that need booking, isn't it?
It's been 18 years since I visited the British Museum. I would like to take the kids when they are a bit older.
