This is my guilty pleasure, the book I drool over, and the book which convinced me that I am definitely a Grade -A glutton!
The second cookbook from the amazing staff at the famous Hummingbird Bakery in London, the recipes in this book are a delight. We have made several of the recipes, which are distinctive, upmarket, delicious but not necessarily cheap to make, I have to admit.
The book is divided into seasonal themes:
- Valentine's Day
- Spring Weekend Bakes
- Mother's & Father's Day
- Easter
- Summer Afternoon Tea
- Birthdays & Celebrations
- Rainy Day Treats
- Halloween & Bonfire Night
- Christmas
The only possible word to describe this book is "Yum!".
