Museum Part Three

A Railway station waiting room, complete with model evacuees.

Air Raid Warden's post

Original packaged items.
I remembered several of them :-)

Box Kite and plane

A WW2 Scout uniform, of particular interest to DD3
who is a proud member of the local Scout Troup.
Scouts were used as messengers in WW2 in this area.

Original documents of the time.

The girls loved trying on the clothes, the boots and the hats...

and there were lots of things to choose from!

DD3 admiring herself wearing a hat.

Part of a German Dornier bomber engine,
shot down over the Gower peninsula.

There were things to see outside the building too.

The ambulance looked none too comfortable....
