A Visit To Tenby

Last Thursday, the weather was glorious and DH and I decided to take the children to Tenby for the day. It is only about an hour and a half's drive away, but it is like going to a different world..........



The old part of the town is largely within very sturdy medieval walls.



The main entrance is through the "Five Arches"......


so-called for obvious reasons :-)





Looking through the arches, you see the touristy shops ......




.... and looking back, even the town walls are no defence from the invading hordes of visitors !
