Communicating With Autistic Children

I found this remarkable film footage and article about Phoebe Caldwell,  a pioneering "communicator" with autistic children.

I have seen mildly autistic children go into total meltdown when the noise levels in a mainstream classroom reached  a certain pitch, and found this article and film to be absolutely fascinating.

I am very tempted to get her new book !

That's interesting. I remember spacing out completely when the noise level, either at home or in school, got to a certain point -- which is probably the reason I only learned how to figure percentages as an adult. ;-)
