Sunshine

The sunshine has continued unabated this week.

It was a delight to take DD4 to school, revelling in the real warmth of the sun on my back and seeing the vivid blue of the sky.

Washing has been drying outside again today, and it was even warm enough to sit out on the patio and say morning prayers.

I am just waiting for the sheep at the nearby farm to give birth to their lambs; one of the greatest delights of Spring is to see the lambs gambolling in the fields......

Any chance you could snag a photo of the lambs? I've never seen lambs before!

What a wondrous part of the world you live in to see lambs gambolling around.

We have a minute sheep holding near us, too -- maybe as many as ten sheep -- and they have already had their lambs. Lambing in NH comes around January or February, and the sheep farmers tell me there is nothing like lambing "in the cold, in the dark, in the middle of the night." Of course, there's nothing like a lamb, either.
