Memories......
.........of my dear step-father Gordon, who died four years ago this very evening.
Once we have finished the evening meal, I will be lighting the lampada and praying for him and for my brother.
I added Gordon to my 'end of year' akathist for the reposed. Mark I have on my weekly one anyway. I think it's lovely to light a lampada, I am too clumsy for flame and oil so I use tealights - not quite the same.
May Gordon's and Mark's memories be eternal!
