Sad News

Just to let you all know that my beloved brother Mark died very peacefully tonight, Mum and I were with him constantly for the ten hours of his final illness.

I have just got home and am too wiped out to write more; I will post more details tomorrow.

Thank you all for the outpouring of love, prayers and support. It has meant so very much to me.

To the servant of God Mark, Memory Eternal..............

May his memory be eternal!

Prayers and love from Down Under; I can but pray that though we have never met, the communion in Christ and our online friendship brings some comfort: thank you for sharing these hard times with us.

May his memory be eternal.

Please remind your mother from me that the Theotokos also watched her dear Son die; she knows that sorrow.

Tears and hugs from me, and prayers. I'll be lighting candles for Mark.

Memory eternal. You and your mother, as well as he, will be in my prayers. I'm glad his struggle is over, though.

Memory Eternal.

I put him on two prayer lists for monastics and that he was dying. You are also on both lists.

So sorry to hear of his passing as it is so hard to lose a brother.

I will be in church tomorrow and will light a candle for him as newly departed.

Prayers for your Mother and for you. I will ask the prayers of our Holy Mother of God.

My love and a really big *hug*...

May St. Mark of Ephesus prayers comfort you all.
