Old Believer Wedding In Alaska

This is a delightful snapshot of an Old Believer wedding in Alaska. It looks a vibrant and living community, Glory to God. I wouldn't have described them as "frozen in time", though :-)

Simply wonderful! National Geographic magazine showcased Nikolaevsk, oh, 25 or 30 years ago, and there was something in the Wall Street Journal about 15 years ago, so it was so interesting for me to be able to see this. I've bookmarked it on YouTube! Thanks, Elizabeth!

That's beautiful. I like the idea of a newlywed boot camp, and the symbolism of the scarf "tying them to their neighbors."
