The Serbian Orthodox Monastery at Platina in California has had to be evacuated due to the intense forest fires raging since last Saturday's lightning strikes in N California.
The nuns at St Xenia's Skete are still there, but on high alert for evacuation.
Please pray for all those affected by these terrible fires, that there may be no loss of life in the area.....
