The sport I have made a beginning at is............
Sabre Fencing ( or over the Pond, saber fencing )!
I am a rank beginner and by far the oldest in the class, all of whom are extremely good. I am having to swallow my pride, learn to make a fool of myself in front of 15 other people and not get all strung up about it.
Good for learning some humility :-)
