Charlton Heston has died, with Lydia, his wife of 64 years, at his side.
I am so sad; he was one of my favourite actors, and I enjoyed pretty much all the films he made.
My prayers for his family and friends, who will mourn his loss.
No doubt we will soon be able to watch all his films repeated on TV, and there are many that I will want to record, especially Michelangelo and El Cid.

He was one of my favorite actors too. Memory Eternal.
While he was a great actor, there are those of us of American extraction who especially appreciate that he stood for principles and political views very distinct from most of the rest of Hollywood.
