I wish you all a peaceful and blessed year.
I have never found New Year's Day to be a particularly enjoyable experience for many reasons, but since the repose of my dear stepfather, Gordon, on New Year's Eve 2005, I have found it to be a particularly sad day.
Of your kindness, please say a prayer for Gordon.
