Holy And Righteous Abigail

Imagine my delight this morning, when a fairly aimless web browse unexpectedly turned up a picture of an icon of the holy and righteous Abigail, DD4`s patron saint !

Oh, how nice! But she isn't as cute as your Abigail. ;-) Will you be able to purchase this icon?

Hello, I'm looking everywhere for an icon of St. Abigail for my home. Were you able to purchase this? If so, from where?

Hello There!
Do you know when St Abigail's feast day is? Old calendar?
My niece and Goddaughter is also Abigail and I can't find when her nameday is!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Julianna

Hi Julianna!
Our priest told us to keep Abigail's Nameday as the Sunday of the holy Forefathers during the Nativity Fast, which falls usually between 11 - 17th December in the New Calendar.

For those on the original Calendar I believe that will be the 29th December according to the Civil Calendar - hope this helps!

How nice of you to get right back to me!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!
Nice to have "met" you and how exciting to find someone from the UK. :) I'm from far away Maine, USA. :)
I'm so glad to have an exact date for Miss Abbie's name day. Thanks again and God Bless!
