Going to the Zoo

Dd4`s class are going to the Zoo next Weds, and they are asking for a parent to accompany each child. Obviously, two members of staff is simply not enough to control 27 boisterous and wildly-excited 3 and 4 year old children, hence the need for parents to go too.

I can`t wait; it must be about 15 years since I last went to the zoo.......

One click led to another, which led to another...and here I landed. Nice to run into someone Orthodox from the UK.

I love zoos. I always visit them when I'm travelling.

Have fun!

I used to purchase a yearly pass to the local zoo. However, almost every time I went, I encountered the same problem. Women with prams right up on top of the cages or environment areas so you couldn't really see the plants and animals. When I politely asked if I could look through, the typical answer was that the baby needed to see the animals more than I did. How absurd, as most of the babies were either asleep or looking at something else anyway. I tried to go on Saturdays but that was even worse as whole families went. I finally gave up! Enough of my sordid story. I hope you enjoy the zoo!
