Idly flicking through the newspaper this afternoon, I saw an advert for a major bookchain, promoting the new Terry Pratchett Discworld novel, "Thud!".
Cries of anguish rent the air as I realised it was too late to get to town to our local bookshop.
Now I will have to wait till Monday.
Grrrrr.
